FORT PIERCE, Fla. — UPDATE: Source has confirmed the identity of the body found in the Fort Pierce City Hall Garage Wednesday.

They say Philip Lott's body was found on the Fourth floor of the garage. The 71-year-old has last been seen on Saturday when his wife says he left home on an electric scooter.

The garage is now closed as police investigate.

Lott's cause of death is under investigation.

Police are investigating after a body was found in the parking garage at Fort Pierce City Hall on Wednesday, WPTV confirms.

Our news crew on the scene was told the body was discovered on the fourth floor of the garage.

The parking garage is now closed, and a crime scene investigation van is parked outside.

We don't know how the person died, or if their death is considered suspicious.

No other details have been released.
