St. Lucie County will receive more than $9.5 million in federal assistance to help recover from Hurricane Irma.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said in a written statement Monday that funds will reimburse St. Lucie County for money spent to restore beaches and dunes eroded by Irma’s waves and storm surge.
FEMA assistance was designated for all 67 Florida counties through the federal disaster declaration.
