Troopers have released updated information on a deadly Monday morning crash on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County.
Maria Camila Ramirez,19, of Ormond Beach hit a light pole and after getting out of her car was struck by a tractor trailer, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver, 58-year-old Vincent Sorrentino, of Palm Coast, was not hurt.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes near the Indrio Road exit.
Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
