It's the phenomenon that had all eyes on the night sky.

The so called 'supermoon' created curiosity and wonder for some - and headaches for others.

It’s the closest the earth has been to the moon in 70 years.

Combine that with the fact that we're in King Tide season and you get the potential for rising waters here in our area.

For some people, the super moon provides a different kind of potential.

Margaret Ann Lembo with The Crystal Garden in Boynton Beach says just like the tides raise our water, the super moon raises our emotion.

The best way to get rid of the negative emotions - drum it out.

“The drumbeat is like connecting with the heart and the heartbeat of ourselves and the heartbeat of the earth,” Lembo says.

“It release anxiety, stress, anything that's been built up, and it can help with lowering blood pressure and increasing more joy and happiness.”

A few miles away in Delray - a different kind of spiritual connection.

Sunny Arfa with ‘Feel Great, Meditate’ led a meditation session underneath the night sky.

“During any full moon, with that light energy of the moon, it amplifies and magnifies all of your thoughts,” Arfa says.

She says it creates a spiritual boost.

“They're going to be very aware, their intuition increases, and they're going to feel more confident about trusting the universe.”

She says with this bigger, brighter moon comes bigger and brighter possibilities.

“Stay positive, if you haven't thought about your goals and intentions do that tonight,” Arfa says. “And if you can, write them down in present tense because it will start to manifest”

If you don't get a chance to see the supermoon Monday night, the next opportunity to see the moon this close to earth  is in 2034.
