A scaffold partially collapsed 10 in Delray Beach Thursday morning.
It was on the 10th floor when the incident happened at the Seagate condos.
Delray Beach Fire Rescue says two people on the scaffolding at the time were not hurt.
“They were able to move themselves safely to the scaffolding on the corner of the building there and some other co-workers were able to open the window and safely get those gentlemen out,” said Delray Beach Fire Rescue Captain Ed Beardsley.
Firefighters say a motor on the scaffolding failed and caused it to collapse slowly.
They say a safety mechanism kept the scaffolding from falling to the ground.
