One person was shot and two others, including a baby, were injured as a result of a shooting stemming from an ongoing feud, according to Delray Beach police.

A person in a black Jetta shot into a gray Accord during the noon hour at the intersection of NW 3rd Street and NW 10th Avenue, police said.

A bullet struck the driver of the Accord in the shoulder causing the car to crash, according to investigators.

A baby in the Accord suffered a knot on the forehead and cuts from broken glass, authorities said.

Police said shrapnel also hit a man in a nearby vehicle, but he refused treatment.

Police recovered the Jetta which they said was stolen from West Palm Beach. The occupants fled the scene.

S.D. Spady Elementary school was placed on lockdown as a precaution. It has since been lifted.

Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Oscar Leon (561) 243-7800.
