It's official, Delray Beach has a new sister city.
Mayor Cary Glickstein and Vice Mayor Daniele Vimini of Pesaro, Italy signing an agreement Wednesday afternoon.
Leaders say the two cities are very similar; both are tourist destinations with restaurant-lined streets leading to the ocean.
The cites will exchange cultural and culinary concepts right away. Already Pesaro is preparing to loan an art exhibit to Delray Beach.
Down the line, both cities want to explore business and sporting opportunities.
Delray Beach is also sister cities with Miyazu Japan and Moshi, Tanzania. Leader are considering adding Aqiun, Haiti to the list.
