The State Attorney's Office tells News Channel 5 the Sober Home Task Force executed two search warrants at two drug treatment centers in Palm Beach County Tuesday.
One of those warrants was executed at Chapters Recovery Rehabilitation Center in Delray Beach.
Investigators were seen taking items out of the building at 2230 West Atlantic Avenue.
The Task Force, Delray Beach police and a crime scene van from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office were on scene.
One patient at the center, who goes by Brad, says he was at the center for treatment when investigators raided the business,
"[They] told us to come outside and they put the patients in one area and the employees in another area," he says.
Brad says the bust came as a surprise.
"I was shocked because how well this place is run and... how good they do things," he says.
The State Attorney’s Office didn't give further details on the raid, saying the investigation is ongoing.
Eight people have been arrested by the task force since the end of October.
