Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said a car crashed into a canal Tuesday morning just off Florida’s Turnpike.
At 7:36 a.m., crews responded to the southbound Turnpike near the entrance ramp off Glades Road in southern Palm Beach County.
PBCFR Capt. Albert Borroto said first-arriving crews reported a vehicle fully submerged with a woman outside sitting on the bank.
She was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The cause of the wreck has not been released.
