There are bad drivers. Then there are BAD drivers.
The Boynton Beach Police Department released a video Thursday that shows a driver ignoring a red light and turning left from the far right lane. It's the trifecta of horrible driving.
BBPD posted the video on its Facebookpage, asking, "Let's play a game of how many traffic laws did this driver violate?"
The department is outspoken about bad drivers and has taken to shaming traffic violators on social media before, and clearly plans to continue the practice.
Let's play a game of how many traffic laws did this driver violate? We count five. Watch as the driver completely ignores the red light at Boynton Beach Boulevard and Old Boynton Road, and then makes an illegal left turn from the far right lane!
In our ongoing effort to keep you safe and informed, our Traffic Unit will be sharing videos of red light camera violations on a regular basis. We hope that these videos create a constructive dialogue about the dangers of distracted driving. We all need to slow down, put the cell phones down and pay attention to everything going on around us. Lives depend on it.
