BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Authorities say a man known as the "Tag Man" has been tagged with several criminal charges.
Acting on a information from a source, Boynton Beach police say they learned that a man called the "Tag Man" was selling fake license plates or insurance cards on the streets for $60.
So police eventually made contact with their suspect identified as 36-year-old Fedelin Pericles. They said undercover officers purchased phony license plates and insurance cards from him on three separate occasions.
Wednesday they arrested Pericles and he was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
He faces three counts of counterfeiting a motor vehicle registration, three counts of falsifying records, three counts of uttering a forged instrument, three counts of organized fraud and three counts of driving with a suspended license.
