BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Officials evacuated part of the Sandalwood community on Miner Road in Boynton Beach Monday, as well as a fire station and police department training center after a woman brought a box of homemade fireworks to Fire Station 3 for disposal.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad responded and took possession of "M80's", according to the Boynton Beach police department.
