BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Boynton Beach Fire Rescue conducted a trench rescue near the Hunters Run community Thursday morning, after a construction accident.
The city says a construction worker became trapped under a cement structure at a site off Congress Avenue, just south of Summit Drive. The Technical Rescue Team and Special Operations conducted the trench rescue to free him.
The worker was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and OSHA will be conducting an investigation.
