Boynton Beach police say two people are suspected of stealing more than $1,000 in merchandise from Macy's on Congress Avenue.
They say the incident happened Thursday afternoon.
Police also say a loss prevention officer was choked while trying to stop the thefts.
Investigators say the pair left in a red 2001 Hyundai Sonata.
