Boca Raton residents will have a chance to voice their opinion at a public meeting Monday afternoon following the arrest of Mayor Susan Haynie.
Haynie was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of official misconduct, perjury in an official proceeding, misuse of public office, corrupt misuse of public office and failure to disclose a voting conflict.
Gov. Rick Scott suspended Haynie from her position on Friday.
The Monday meeting will take place at the Fire Rescue Administration building, located at 6500 Congress Ave., beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Deputy Mayor Scott Singer is serving as the interim mayor until a special election is held in August. Singer said he intends to run for the position.
