BOCA RATON, Fla.- Today is a day of giving. It's Good Deeds Day. The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County will be making thousands of meals for families.
Today is about practicing the simple idea that every person can do a good deed and create a positive impact.
At the Jewish Federation, hundreds of people will assemble 30,000 Kosher meals.
Adults and children will be there from community groups, synagogues and country clubs for the the organization's largest fundraising day of the year.
Good Deeds Day started in Israel in 2007. Since then it's expanded to 61 countries.
The event is from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
