A dog and cat died in a house fire in Boca Raton Thursday afternoon.
A spokesman from the fire department said flames shot through the ceiling and roof of the home - eventually spreading to the garage.
Firefighters said the couple who lives there was not home when the fire started.
This house is on Southwest 13th Street.
Investigators determined the fire was accidental and traced the cause to an electrical problem.
