For the second time in a week a Boca Raton bank has been robbed.
On Tuesday, a man wearing a Marlins baseball cap handed a note to a teller at the Chase Bank at 714 Yamato Road and demanded money, according to police.
The man was then seen walking away and disappeared near the rear of the Village Plaza.
Police describe the suspect as a black man in his early to mid-20s. He was clean shaven and wore all black clothing.
On March 10 a masked man who claimed he had a bomb held up the TD Bank at 2301 North Federal Highway Thursday in Boca Raton, police said.
That suspect was described by police as a white man with a muscular or stocky build.
Anyone with information on the Chase robbery is urged to call Boca Raton Police Detective Lazarus Kimsal at (561) 620-6144 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS.
