A salon in Boca Raton held an event Sunday for adults with developmental disabilities.
The Peter Coppola Salon was filled with music and treats for members of the Jewish Association for Residential Care.
Staff got out their scissors and makeup brushes to give women a makeover before they headed to their annual gala.
"I just think it's really nice that there's somewhere to come and just not think about any of their challenges and just have fun for the day,” said stylist Jonathan Desouza.
The gala took place at the Boca West Country Club.
