The Boca Raton Police Department is investigating three robberies they say happened in the span of 24 hours at the University View Apartments.

Officials say the first incident happened early Saturday morning on NW 5th Avenue.

According to the victim, he and some friends were approached by four black males and a Hispanic male while attempting to get back in their car after leaving a party. The victim told police the suspects asked them if they wanted to buy drugs. When the victim declined, he says he was attacked and his iPhone was stolen.

The second robbery happened about 45 minutes later when two black males and a Hispanic male asked another man if they could borrow their phone to make a call. The victim told police when he pulled out his phone, the suspect quickly grabbed his iPhone and walked away.

The victim followed the suspects and offered to give them $500 for his iPhone. The suspects also stole the victim's wallet when he pulled it out to give them the money.

Police say the third incident happened about 24 hours later when once again the victim was leaving a party with friends and he says they were confronted by five to seven black males. The victim told police he was attacked and his iPhone was stolen.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Detective Kimsal at 561-620-6144 or Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS
