Officers with the Boca Raton Police Marine Unit rescued a seriously injured juvenile loggerhead sea turtle on March 27.
The turtle they named "Five-Oh" was removed from the water and placed in the care of Gumbo Limbo Nature Center staff after officers were able to control the turtle's blood loss on the scene.
Five-Oh was most likely injured by a boat, officials say. Its health is improving.
