Authorities say they are investigating an armed robbery in a parking lot at Town Center Boca Raton.

Just after 11:30 a.m. Monday April 29, police say an elderly man told them he was talking on his cellphone with the windows down near the former Sears store when a newer model dark blue or purple 4-door vehicle pulled up next to him.

He said there were 4 people in the car and someone in the front passenger seat opened the door, pointed a gun, and demanded everything the victim had.

According to a police report, a person in the rear passenger seat approached the victim and took his cellphone, ring and a watch.

The victim then called police from the valet stand at Neiman Marcus at 5860 W. Glades Road.

Police have released a photo of what may be the vehicle the suspects used.
