Jeffrey Wright used his celebrity status to support Hillary Clinton Friday. The Hunger Games and James Bond actor joined students at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton for a voter registration drive.

Wright said the young generation may have preferred Bernie Sanders to Clinton, but he encouraged students to get behind the democratic nominee.

“Young people need to get involved and make sure they hold Hillary Clinton accountable when she’s in the White House, but you can’t do that without participating in the process,” he said.

The actor wore a shirt with “Mrs. President” written across the chest. He called Clinton the most qualified candidate.

He pointed to some of Donald Trump’s comments about women as unacceptable.

“I’m a father to young a girl, I’m the son to a mother and I think I would be doing a disservice to them if I didn’t get involved in this with a fierceness to repudiate that type of language and attitude,” he said.

A judge ordered Florida to extend its voter registration deadline to Tuesday.

Organizers of Friday’s registration drive said their next step is making sure the people who registered actually cast their vote.
