PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said a 94-year-old Delray Beach man died on Christmas from injuries he sustained in a crash last week.

The wreck happened Dec. 17 at the intersection of Military Trail and Monterey Lane near Delray Beach at 9:28 p.m.

At the same time, 2013 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound near the intersection.

A PBSO report said a 2018 Lexus driven by Courtney Lawrence, 47, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, was traveling north on Military Trail.

Lawrence stopped to turn onto Monterey Lane.

Both vehicles had a green light, but PBSO said Lawrence failed to yield the right away, turning into the path of the Malibu.

The front of the Malibu struck the front passenger side of the Lexus. The driver of Malibu was transported to a hospital by family who arrived at the scene.

PBSO said Bernard Kaminksy, 94, of Delray Beach, a passenger in the Lexus, died Dec. 25 from injuries he sustained in the crash.

The PBSO report says no charges have been filed in the crash.
