Okeechobee High School just announced the need to cancel classes for 10th through 12th grade students on the main campus due to a power outage.
Students who drive have been released.
However, the school says students who ride buses will be held on campus in rooms with limited AC until normal dismissal time.
Walkers will not be released and must follow normal check out procedures, according to the school district.
The district says school at the Freshman Campus will continue as normal.
