Okeechobee County detectives looking for new leads in 2016 homicide

OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office is making a new push to solve a 2016 homicide.

Authorities responded to the 1000 block of NE 60th Ave. in reference to an unresponsive man. Upon arrival, they found Clemente Garcia dead.

On Wednesday afternoon, detectives will be distributing flyers in the Four Seasons area, asking for information about those involved in Garcia's death.

The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect or suspects.
