OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers have identified a man killed in a rollover crash in Okeechobee County Monday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 26-year-old Jose Emilio Reguero was making a left turn onto U.S. Highway 441 from County Road 68 around 7:15 a.m.
Reguero's Chevy Blazer entered directly into the oncoming path of another Chevy, driven by 43-year-old David Lee Niehaus.
Niehaus struck Reguero's Blazer, causing it to overturn, according to troopers.
Reguero died from the wreck, and Niehaus suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
