Police were on the scene of a body found with gunshot wounds outside a Publix supermarket on U.S. 1, north of Tequesta Drive.
A witness told a Martin County deputy that the shooting happened in the store. The deputy notified the Tequesta Police Department.
Tequesta Police Department investigated the incident and ruled a suicide.
The name of the victim has not been released.
