PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Helping families affected by addiction. That's the goal of the Making Every Day Count charity.
A luncheon and auction was held Thursday in Palm Beach Gardens to raise funds for that mission.
The organization provides support for people who are completing programs in Delinquency Drug Court or Family Drug Court. It provides services, along with financial assistance, housing, and transportation.
"We try to make them feel like somebody’s on their side and that really is our mission, to have that little extra give and take that makes them feel like they’re supported," said Martha Ahr, the President of Making Every Day Count.
