PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Police arrested a carjacking suspect on Saturday following a police chase from West Palm Beach to Palm Beach Gardens and a massive manhunt.
According to police, the carjacking originated in the 790 block of 47th Street in West Palm Beach just before 8 a.m. and officers chased the suspect, identified as 21-year-old Brice Daniels of West Palm Beach, northbound on I-95 and then east on PGA Boulevard, where he bailed out of the vehicle.
Police searched for the suspect for hours on foot with K-9 officers and by air with a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office helicopter.
Police say Daniels is in custody due to alert residents reporting suspicious activity.
