A Palm Beach County School District employee is accused of using school credit cards for personal gain, according to the district.
School District Police arrested 55-year-old Terri L. Miller Thursday.
She is the president of the Association of Educational Secretaries and Office Professionals union, an Afterschool Programming employee and former Palm Beach Gardens High School treasurer, according to the district.
In addition to using credit cards that weren’t hers, she moved money from school internal accounts to help cover the theft, the district said.
Miller used the credit cards to buy gas, clothing, sheets, cleaning products, personal hygiene items, diapers, shrimp platters, snacks and other food, according to the district.
Miller is charged with charged with one count of grand theft and one count of organized scheme to defraud.
