PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Palm Beach Gardens Tuesday.
Crews responded to reports of a fire on the 8600 block of Crater Terrace at 12:51 p.m.
Firefighters started a fire attack upon arrival. On inspection of the attic, crews found active fire inside the attic space.
The fire was extinguished and the American Red Cross were called to assist the five adults and four family pets displaced by this fire.
There were no injuries reported by the home's occupants, however one Palm Beach County firefighter, who was assisting Palm Beach Gardens, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
