PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- A boxing club in Palm Beach Gardens is helping seniors cope with Parkinson's disease.
The recently developed program at Title Boxing Club gives people unique ways to help fight the disease by increasing individual strenth, coordination and balance.
Some Parkinson's patients say the program has given them great results.
Participant Mark Susskind said, "I've been doing it about there to four months and I've seen tremendous amounts of movement. I'm not as tired, I've lost weight I feel great. It's fun and that's what's important, is being safe and trying to keep my Parkinson's in control."
Trainers say boxing can deliver results to anyone at any stage of Parkinson's.
