Power lines down, power out in for 1,800 in North Palm Beach

About 1,800 customers are without power Monday in North Palm Beach, according to the village.

Town officials said transformers were blown and power lines were down in two places: 

  • Lighthouse and Westwind Drives
  • Anchorage Drive and Harbour Road

The village said fire and police personnel are on scene and FPL has been called.

No immediate injuries were reported but there some traffic lights are not working, according to the village.

If you see a downed power line you are urged to stay away and call 911.
