North Palm Beach man wins $4M playing Florida lottery

A Palm Beach County man has a little extra money in his pocket to spend this holiday season after he won $4 million playing the Florida Lottery this month.

Officials said Gregory Winger, Jr., 55, of North Palm Beach, claimed the $4 million Florida Lotto jackpot from a drawing held on Nov. 12, 2016.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2.8 million.

Winger bought his winning ticket from PGA Marathon located at 11269 U.S. Highway 1 in North Palm Beach.

The retailer received a bonus commission of $20,000 for selling the ticket.
