It's World Autism Awareness Day and Port St. Lucie police officers unveiled a police cruiser in support of autism awareness. The cruiser will be a permanent part of the Port St. Lucie police fleet.
The Walk Now for Autism Speaks took place at Tradition Square in Port St. Lucie.
"Yes, I love it. There needs to be more awareness, it needs to happen more often," said a parent.
The event is powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the Autism Spectrum.
