A shark encounter like no other was caught on camera.
Divers with the Emerald Dive Charters in Jupiter are used to seeing a number of lemon sharks, but this time it was different.
Diver Josh Eccles says a shark was nudging and bumping him, almost as if signaling something was wrong. His gut instinct was right. After a closer look, he saw a huge hook sticking out of its belly. Eccles was able to pull it out, possibly saving his life.
The shark likely could have suffered a deep infection.
