JUPITER, Fla.- Artists from around the country are in Jupiter painting south Florida's beautiful scenery.
About 80 artists are in DuBois Park for the last day of the 3rd Annual Plein Air Art Festival.
With each stroke, they're capturing the beauty of landscapes and historic aspects of old Florida.
The event is an opportunity to interact with the artists while they paint.
"You can actually come out and watch them paint," said Ted Matz, the organizer. "You can talk to them, you can see the process they do to make their art work and that's the exciting part."
The festival includes 50 recognized artists from around the United States.
The art work will displayed at a reception today at the Lighthouse ArtCenter Museum, 373 Tequesta Drive, in Tequesta from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
