An elderly driver has died nearly a month after a traffic crash in Lake Park.
Officials say on October 5, 81-year-old Patrick Edward Butler was turning east off of Congress Avenue when he failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a northbound Ford Expedition.
On October 31, Butler died from medical complications related to the crash, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
The other driver was seriously injured in the collision, PBSO said.
