Stuart police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that sent a young woman to the hospital.
At 8:10 p.m., Aaliyah Marie Rogers, 20, of Stuart, was hit by gunfire in the area of Southeast Lake Street and Southeast East Avenue.
Rogers was transported to Lawnwood Medical Center in Fort Pierce in stable condition.
