STUART, Fla. — The Stuart Police Department (SPD) is investigating a potential shooting in the area of Southeast Bahama Avenue.
Though there is no connection to any schools, SPD says nearby schools were placed on a brief lockdown status as a precaution. They have since reopened.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
