A mother from Martin County was arrested Thursday in connection with her child’s death last month.
Stuart police said Bianca Wright was arrested in Georgia after her 2-year-old daughter drowned on Jan. 7.
Investigators said she lied about being at the apartment last month when her daughter escaped the home.
The girl was later found floating in a small lake.
Wright is charged with manslaughter and child neglect.
