The community will gather Tuesday night to remember the life of Tricia Todd, a Hobe Sound mother who was killed in late April.
A public memorial will be held at Christ Fellowship Church in Stuart. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 7 p.m.
Todd, 30, was a hospice nurse and single mother of a 2-year-old daughter.
She was last seen alive at a Hobe Sound Publix on April 26. For weeks, family friends and volunteers searched for clues in her disappearance.
In May, Todd’s ex-husband confessed to killing her and burying her remains in a rural area of Martin County.
Partial remains of Tricia Todd were found in a container at the Hungryland Preserve. Human teeth and saws were also found in a nearby canal.
Williams will be sentenced at the end of this month.
