An early-morning crash in Sewall’s Point sends a Martin County deputy to the hospital.
Police say a driver was speeding northbound on North Sewall’s Point Road when they crossed into the southbound lane striking Deputy Dawn Ferris’s patrol vehicle.
Both Deputy Ferris and the motorist were rushed to the hospital.
Ferris is expected to be released soon.
The motorist has non-life threatening injuries.
