PALM CITY, Fla. -- A pedestrian was struck and killed early Saturday in Palm City.
Florida Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was struck around 4 a.m. on Martin Highway, east of Berry Avenue.
The pedestrian, identified as 26-year-old Clay Michael Fischer of Port St. Lucie, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and FHP is investigating.
