The U.S. Small Business Administration opened a Business Recovery Center in Martin County on Sep.7, offering assistance to local businesses and organizations impacted by toxic algae.
But Wednesday is the last day it will be open to help located business owners.
Representatives will be on hand to answer questions and help people fill out applications for disaster loans.
The center is open Wednesday rom 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Martin County Fire Rescue Headquarters, located at 800 SE Monterey Rd. in Stuart, and then will close for good.
Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application via SBA's secure website at DisasterLoan.sba.gov.
Applications and program information are available by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by emailing disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
Loan applications can also be downloaded at www.sba.gov.
Completed applications should be returned to a center or mailed to the address below:

The filing deadline to return applications for economic injury is June 4, 2019. Businesses can qualify for loans up to $2 million.
