MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — A 70-year-old Okeechobee man died Friday night in a head-on collision.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old Indiantown man was traveling eastbound on SW Martin Highway at 11:22 p.m. in a pickup truck when he entered the westbound lane and struck the front of an SUV, killing the elderly driver.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Martin County Fire Rescue.
The case is still pending investigation.
