MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. -- A homeless man attacked and robbed a man who had just withdrawn cash from a bank ATM, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).
On Sunday, the suspect, 23-year old Bradley Andrew Baum, admitted to approaching the victim and attacking him just after he withdrew money from the Wells Fargo ATM in Jensen Beach.
Baum then fled in a vehicle, but the victim was able to identify that car.
A short time later, deputies located the car and the suspect, who was sitting in a park with his girlfriend.
Baum was positively identified as the person who robbed the victim.
MCSO says Baum has a history of this type of violent crime. He was released from jail for a similar incident last year.
He was booked into the Martin County Jail and charged with Robbery by Sudden Snatching.
