Someone broke into at least 12 vehicles overnight in Jensen Beach, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The crimes happened on Savannah Road, Skyline Drive, the Pinecrest Lakes area, Indian River Drive, Palm Avenue, Elm Terrace and Cheri Drive, the sheriff's office said.
The doors on the vehicles were not locked, according to investigators.
The sheriff's office reminds drivers to remove valuables and lock car doors to avoid becoming a crime victim.
