UPDATE: The Martin County Sheriff's Office says minutes after they posted photos of armed robbery suspects on social media, tips identifying the suspects started rolling in.
The three suspects, all 17-year-old males, were identified and charged with robbery (a felony).
WPTV does not identify suspects who are minors unless they are charged as an adult.
HOBE SOUND, Fla. -- The Martin County Sheriff's Office is looking to identify two men who perpetrated an armed robbery early Monday in Hobe Sound.
On Monday, June 18, 2018 at approximately 2:30 a.m., a male entered the Circle K store at 8755 SE Federal Highway in Hobe Sound and attempted to buy mango flavored Juul e-cigarette cartridges. The clerk was suspicious of his identification and denied the sale. That male then left the store and got into a white Chevrolet Silverado with an extended cab. He drove the vehicle to the south end of the parking lot and parked.
A short time later two suspects entered the store. One of the males jumped the counter and robbed the clerk.
One suspect was wearing a white hockey mask, black shorts, black shoes and white socks. He had a black shirt covering his head and neck.
The second suspect was wearing a green shirt pulled over his face and shoulders, silver and black shorts and a black hat.
